PUWER Assessor Training
Our approved 3-day comprehensive PUWER Assessor training is carried out by experienced machinery safety professionals which allows delegated to benefit from the instructors vast knowledge and experience.
During the training course, examples of what good and bad are examined and discussed, together with various exercises designed to improve delegates hazard identification, and risk assessment and reduction skills.
Our safety control system training rig will be used used to introduce delegates to safety controls and typical devices found on machinery, such as safety controller, emergency stops, gate locking interlocks, light curtains, interlocks and safety scanner. Delegates will be shown how to test this system.
PUWER Training
Delegates will be provided with:
- Training document pack.
- Copy of the PUWER ACOP.
- PUWER assessment template.
- Risk assessment template.
- Various handouts and reference documents.
The PUWER training course will conclude with delegates carrying out an actual PUWER assessment on a machine. The machine has had non-compliances introduced which replicated the type of non-compliances seen during actual PUWER assessments.
